Men for Change: Global Job Empowerment for Young Men
Initiative offered by HRH PRINCESS BELLE RACHEL FOUNDATION
Restoring Dignity. Creating Jobs. Building Peace.
I. Executive Summary
Across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, young men face disproportionately high unemployment rates. As automation and AI increasingly reshape the workforce, jobs in many traditional sectors are disappearing, leaving vulnerable populations at risk of poverty, social exclusion, and crime.
The Men for Change Global Initiative aims to create 200,000+ sustainable jobs for young men worldwide in sectors such as trades, crafts, agriculture, community services, and human-centered professions. The initiative combines skills development, microenterprise support, mentorship, and international partnerships to empower young men economically and socially.
II. Problem Statement
- Young men globally experience higher unemployment than women in most regions, yet most youth-focused development programs prioritize women’s empowerment.
- The rise of AI and automation threatens jobs in sectors like data processing, customer service, and basic manufacturing.
