Tech4Growth  – Youth Digital Empowerment Initiative

Offered by HRH PRINCESS BELLE RACHEL FOUNDATION 

Tech4Growth Africa aims to empower 300,000 youth across Africa and 50,000 youth in other developing countries by providing digital skills training, entrepreneurship mentorship, and access to technology. The program bridges the skills gap, reduces youth unemployment, and fosters innovation for local challenges.

Program Objectives

  • Train 250,000 youth in African countries and 50,000 youth in other developing countries.
  • Build capacity in digital literacy, coding, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion.
  • Support job creation through innovation and startups.
  • Promote inclusion of women, rural youth, and underserved communities

Key Components

  • Digital Skills Training: Coding, app development, cybersecurity, AI basics, and digital marketing.
  • Entrepreneurship & Innovation Labs: Guidance on business planning, product design, and access to startup incubation.
  • Mentorship & Networking: Pairing participants with mentors from African tech firms and universities.
  • Access to Technology: Community hubs with laptops, internet, and software tools for participants.
  • Sustainability Focus: Encouraging youth-led solutions for local challenges in agriculture, health, and education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 to 30 years.
  • Be a citizen or resident of an African or developing country.
  • Demonstrate interest in technology, innovation, or entrepreneurship.
  • Have at least basic literacy and computer knowledge.
  • Commit to completing all program modules and participating in community projects.
