About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to lead and oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of our community development and livelihood initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in challenging environments and can turn vision into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of programs across multiple regions.
Ensure all projects align with the Foundation’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
Collaborate with local partners, government agencies, and community leaders to ensure effective and respectful program delivery.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and performance indicators.
Supervise and mentor program staff and volunteers.
Prepare periodic reports, success stories, and lessons learned for internal and external stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for program innovation, expansion, and partnership development.

Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree in Development Studies, Economics, Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 7+ years of experience in program or project management within the NGO, foundation, or development sector.
Proven ability to manage teams and projects in multicultural or rural contexts.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English (French, Arabic, or local African languages are an asset).
Demonstrated commitment to humanitarian values, neutrality, and community empowerment.
